It was a real pleasure edit and write an introduction for this issue of Empedocles Journal for the Philosophy of Communication. As guest editor for the issue 2 of the volume 11, I had the marvelous opportunity of getting deep in a group of insightful researches on Latin American contemporary thought. The issue analyses current tendencies on decoloniality, political thought, aesthetics, transmediality, gender, photography and the crossroads between philosophy, narrative and emotions. Many of those articles were previously discussed in the second edition of the seminar Latin America in Perspective that was held by the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard University and Harvard’s Complutense Royal College in 2019. Here you have my introduction to the issue. I invite you to read all the articles. Surely you will enjoy them.
